Arkansas Lighting Acquires Prima Lighting

Arkansas Lighting has announced this week the acquisition of Prima Lighting, effective on March 1, 2019, significantly expanding its combined

product offering and customer base.

Arkansas Lighting, a family-owned business, is a market leader in decorative commercial lighting with over twenty years’ experience in the hospitality industry; Prima Lighting is one of

the oldest US manufacturers for cable systems, bendable track lighting systems, and mini recess fixtures in the specification market. The merger between companies will increase offerings for customers and sales representatives within the lighting industry.

Arkansas Lighting began its journey in 1972 as Arkansas Lamp Manufacturing. In 1997, Bob Null purchased the company, and was able to immediately improve manufacturing operations

and expand the product line. Now led by the second generation of the Null family, Jeff and Greg Null each offer their unique skill sets that continue to make the company stronger. As one

example, Arkansas Lighting’s innovative manufacturing equipment and techniques allow for production of large fabric pendants, up to 72 inches in diameter. These pendants are custom

made in Arkansas in 4-6 weeks and have no minimum order quantity.

“We expect this merger to vastly expand the product options available for our existing Arkansas customers and our new Prima customers”, said President of Arkansas Lighting, Jeff Null. “Both

client bases will gain new opportunities for introductions to products they may not know exist at this time.”

California-based Prima Lighting has manufactured high-end pendant and track lighting products for over twenty years. Most of their product lines are assembled in the United States and

tailored to fulfill fast paced commercial, hospitality, and government project requirements.

“Our mission has been to always provide the best combination of product design, quality, customer service, and pricing.” explains Adam Lee, Owner of Prima Lighting. “We look forward

to the new opportunities that this acquisition will bring for Prima employees and customers as Arkansas Lighting continues to build upon the accomplishments of our company.”
