LinkedIn Is Bringing Verification To Company Pages
Hello, LinkedIn Community!
We have exciting news: LinkedIn is now rolling out verification for company pages, adding a new layer of trust and authenticity for brands on the platform.
LinkedIn Company Page Verification
Approved company pages will now display a gray verification tick, signaling that the company has passed LinkedIn’s rigorous checks for identity and authenticity. This new feature aims to foster more meaningful interactions by ensuring members and customers know they are engaging with an organization's official page.
As LinkedIn explains:
“We know that authenticity is key to creating meaningful interactions. A verification badge on a LinkedIn Page helps signal to members and customers that this is an official Page for the organization, and in turn, helps the organization build trust with its audience.”
How It Works
LinkedIn’s verification process assesses several factors to confirm the legitimacy of a company page:
Unlike other platforms, you cannot apply for this verification. Instead, LinkedIn will approve pages at its discretion, ensuring that the information provided aligns with their criteria.

Why It Matters
Verification badges are a significant trust signal for users, reassuring them they are dealing with genuine, official company representatives. While this new feature will be rolled out on a limited basis, adding a verification badge is expected to enhance user confidence and interaction quality on LinkedIn.
To check if your page is verified, navigate to the “Verification” section in your company page settings. Verified pages will display “Verified” along with the verification date. If your organization has not yet accessed this feature, you can express interest via your page’s Verification Control settings.
LinkedIn plans to roll out verification badges to a limited number of pages this month, so look for this new addition to your company page.
Closing Thoughts
Building trust and authenticity is more critical than ever, and LinkedIn’s new company page verification is a step in the right direction. Stay tuned as LinkedIn continues to enhance its platform to support genuine interactions and build stronger professional networks.
