LinkedIn Launches AI Tools for Recruiters, JobSeekers & Career Branders.
The BOTS are Back [In] Town!
OpenAI, the creators of Chat GPT, is 49% owned by Microsoft with its investment of $13B in early 2023. Microsoft has infuse a number of its own products with OpenAI tech and as a whole owned company of Microsoft, LinkedIn is going to tap into its parent’s prime investment.
So how will this impact Recruiters, JobSeekers & Career Branders?

JobSeekers & Career Branders
[✦ Learn with AI] is a new LinkedIn Learning AI-powered coaching feature allowing us to ask questions and get narrative answers generated from courses tailored to us based on insights about our Skills and Titles on our Profiles.
This feature will use Natural Language Processing (NLP), allowing us to write our request as an everyday question. Through a chatbot experience, it will offer real-time advice tailored to the content and personalized recommendations for your needs, career goals, and questions.
We no longer have to take a one-hour course or search the internet for tips on a topic: unlock the entire learning library through [✦ Learn with AI] for content, reference, and support.
This AI feature will provide us with possible examples if we are still determining where to start. When answering, it may give a (Learn more) option offering courses that may help our understanding. Responses can be rated with a 👍 or 👎 to help the AI learn what you are looking for in its answers.
Initially, [✦ Learn with AI] will focus on Management and Soft Skills Courses. Your input or output will be confidential and not shared with your Company or other Members.
RECRUITERS
LinkedIn Recruiter's [✦ AI tools] will assist with manual writing and analysis tasks such as job descriptions, setting up queries for sourcing, sending emails to candidates, responding to candidate questions, scheduling interviews, recording and analyzing interviews, writing job offers, and even negotiating salary.
LinkedIn Recruiter [✦ AI tools] covers four categories:
(AI-assisted candidate discovery) provides fast and easy sourcing, filtering, selection, and skills analysis
(Smarter suggestions) suggests locations, job titles, skills, companies, and other criteria that would expand the results of a search
(Simplified candidate outreach) generates AI-assisted InMails and can automate InMail follow-up messages, CRM, and email integrations
(Actionable data and insights) creates in-depth reports and insights to analyze job advertisements, posting performance, traffic, and other functions within Recruiter
This toolset uses LinkedIn Economic Graph or your company's vast employee and candidate information database.
