Remember, Danish employers value honesty, so approach the negotiation with openness.

Create a Vision Board for Your Career

A vision board can be a powerful tool for visualizing your career goals and staying motivated. Gather images, quotes, and words that represent what you want to achieve professionally—whether that’s leading a team, switching industries, or learning a new skill. Place your vision board somewhere you’ll see often to remind yourself of what you’re working toward and to keep your ambitions top of mind.

Schedule Regular Coffee Meetings with Key Contacts

Building a strong professional network takes consistency. Schedule regular coffee catch-ups—virtual or in-person—with key contacts in your industry. This not only keeps you top-of-mind but also opens up opportunities for knowledge sharing and potential collaboration.
