LinkedIn #Tip2 # About Me

Welcome back! Today, we're going to dive into one of the most critical parts of your LinkedIn profile -

Your "About" section.

It is the first-place people look when they land on your profile. That's why it's essential to ensure your "About" section is "Audience-Focused" and makes a strong first impression.

This section is all about your Audience, and it's where people go to learn about Who you are and What you do.

Your "About" section is not meant to read like a resume. Instead, it's the perfect platform to share your "Why-story" - your values, passions, and the story behind what you do.

Write Your Why Story in "First Person Tone "

While this is a Business Oriented Platform but, LinkedIn Is a Social Platform too, so don't forget to be Social.

Speak Directly to your Target Audience – When they Land on your Profile, they must consider that you are the Person who they were looking for.

(Try to Incorporate the Right Key Words in this Section - SMARTLY!!!)

The key to Write a Compelling and Audience Focused About Section is to make sure that you address Yours

  • Credibility

This Section should Elaborate on Who You Are, What You Do, and Why You Do

  • Your How Story

How did you reach to this level and why you deserve to be here

  • Personalized Touch

Remember the person reading your About is genuinely interested in you, so give him the substance that connects you with him. Give that Personalized touch. Don’t make it Cosmetic.
