Unique Opportunity – Multi-Million Dollar Investment
Australian Agricultural Technologies Limited (In Liquidation) was a respected research and development company operating in the agricultural industry in NSW and QLD. Hymans is seeking expressions of interest with regard to the company seed stock, equipment and Intellectual Property.
The majority of the stock is related to two key initiatives:
DRYLAND RICE
AATL in partnership with CQU has been undertaking R&D projects using a number of strains of dryland rice, both long and short grain. The sale comprises 5 tonnes of seed stock over 4 varieties from the 2016-2017 season, as well as additional seed stock across 13 varietals from earlier projects.
MUSTARD SEED
The mustard seed projects were twofold: (1) developing a more efficient method of extracting bio-fuel from mustard seed; (2) developing hotter strains of mustard as a replacement for horseradish or wasabi. This sale includes over 55 Tonnes of seed stock with a market value over $200,000. Recent germination and purity tests are available.
The bio-diesel plant is in an as-new condition, and can be used with other bio-mass stock – it is not limited for use with mustard seed.
The Rota-Tech and Sprout Harvester can be repurposed for any commercial growing sprout production, including Alfalfa, Arugula, Broccoli, Buckwheat, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, Clover, Dill, Fennel, Fenugreek, Garlic, Leek, Mustard, Onion, and Radish.
