A Little Help Please
I have been writing a fictional story these past several months that has grown into a full-blown novel. The main character in my story, "Gangster of Love: A Legendary Tale of Biblical Proportion" has taken on a life of his own in my head and is someone I have grown to care for with great interest.
The story is winding its way to a conclusion. However, as I go back and re-read it, more story lines come to mind that contribute to the sensibility of what comes later in the tale. I am not in a hurry to complete it since the quality of the story is paramount to the finished work and the experience of the reader.
Being that I am not famous, I will likely be self-publishing with the hope of attracting an audience for what I believe is a powerful story with intense passion and depth.
The biggest challenge that I think comes with self-publishing is the matter of editing. What I submit to the Amazon Create Space on-demand publishing format is what is published, warts and all. So it needs to be right on, grammatically speaking.
If anyone has suggestions for me on editing and self-publishing, please message me here or email me at smgledhill@yahoo.com.
God bless,
