Live in the moment it brings cheers
I remember I went for my first walk on the beach today since the lockdown for the pandemic. I had walked on the beach at least once a week for years and years. I have several beaches that I can walk on within minutes of my house. I always tried to live for those moments. I plan ahead like most people. But when you concentrate on the moments…. life is more intense and fulfilling. The colors of the sea and sky ever changing. The motion and sounds so familiar. When someone has had a close call with death… everything seems more alive, vivid, and enhanced… the colors, the sounds, the senses are more alert.
So, yes, to me… living in the moment definitely makes sense. Even my drive to the beach with the corners on the highway and the ocean vistas. After all, your next moment may not be there. I have always viewed the world and life a little differently. Life is a gift from our creator to be cherished and enjoyed. have a difficult time with this actually. Living in the moment is a beautiful thing. You are deeply aware of your place in time and all those around you. It is the place where vivid memories are made. It is life changing to just completely experience life in the moment that we are in. It is difficult because we are thinking, feeling, and playful people. Our thoughts are ever fleeting and distract us from where we are and what we are doing at any given moment.
But it takes a conscience effort and practice to allow yourself to live in the moment. With regular effort to do so, you will find that you can choose to live in the moment and prevent distractions conscientiously. It is self-talking exercises that assist in this ability. Whenever you begin to wander away in thoughts that steal you away from the moment that you would like to fully experience, you have to learn how to tell yourself to STOP. Stop that distraction and replace it with a redirectional check, which brings you right back to where you prefer to be in that moment.
Here again, it takes practice, but, once you master this ability, you will be “living in the moment” as you wish and when you wish. Living in the moment means forget about past and future and enjoy the present. We shouldn't be dwelling in the past and shouldn't be tensed about the past events, also we shouldn't take much pressure of the future that what may happen tomorrow, and instead we must enjoy the present moment and be grateful for our existence.

Living in the moment is good idea, well it's not an idea but a way of living. We must observe everything around us and ponder on it's creation, we must think of ourselves and be grateful and amused of the every moment of our life. So, answer to your question is that, “Living in the Moment” really does make sense. As it's not a quote given by a person but it's the reality of the life that we should have our complete focus on present and cherish every moment of it. Rather it's really important to live in the moment to enjoy that moment, to make that moment productive and also in order to achieve success.
Sometimes it is difficult to do that due to some kind of stress or any other reasons. But one should practice to overcome that and learn to live in the moment. Recently, I read a book on our former captain MS Dhoni. The book is particularly on the qualities of MS which makes him so successful in his field. In that, MS has also stressed on the importance of living in the moment. The two lines regarding living in the moment which I liked the most were like this — “ Being in the present keeps you away from the past which is useless and future which will be created to your present. Present must be good to have an excellent future.”
So, that's all. I think one can understand from this how important it is to live in the moment and obviously does it make sense or not. Accepting the moment as it is--impermanent, is the source of a sustainable inner peace. Though, living in the moment requires an intentional readjustment to socially constructed realities of work and time. Work is typically aligned with the clock. Clock time is embedded in the future (schedules) or past (outcomes), thereby largely, and artificially, eradicating the present. One has to make a conscious effort to live in the moment rather than to invoke stress and tension that comes with being chained to a clock. The decision is yours and yours alone to accept or reject.
I think it makes great sense. Living in the moment doesn't mean you never think about the future or the past. It simply means you're focused on what's happening right now. Someone once told me they had no inner voice. That nagging pain in the head that's always worrying, replanning, or predicting future events. They said their main concern was the now. The now is the only time you can really hope to effect. It is rather impossible to live either in the past, future or present! What is meant by past? Memory! No memory, no past! What is meant by future? Anticipation! No anticipation, no future! What is present? We know present relative to past or future! No past! No present! No future! It is only now!!! Cheers!
