I love this quote so much! I have learned over the course of the last 10 years that life is really truly not about you in anyway shape or form. Life is meant to be given to others. Life is meant to be shown love to others. Blessing others and serving others. I believe then and only then do we find what genuine and true happiness means.

Over the course of the last 10 years I have been through some astounding (good and bad) things. To name the top 10. 

1.) First person in my family to get his Masters Degree (MBA).

2.) Started a Non-Profit Organization (lifelivestoday.org)

3.) Built and raised over 20k for a Solar Business in one of the worst places to do business in the world, Congo. 

4.) Been to Jail and paid thousands of dollars of fees.

5.) Lost 3 jobs and had months without an income.

6.) Been lied to, cheated on, and emotionally torn from limb to limb.

7.) Had suicidal thoughts and drank myself to sleep. 

8.) Presented at the first ever United Nations Conference outside New York City which was held in Utah. Was the only Student at UVU to take an active role in the conference. 

9.) Traveled to Africa, Spain, Italy, India, England, Canada, Mexico, etc. 

and the 10th is the one that is most important to me. 

10.) Learned that life is more then what my past makes of me. It is about others and in serving others then you will find yourself. 

I know that life is hard, it is challenging, it is not at all what I expected. But it is exactly what I needed to be who I am today.
