Looking forward to EHRA2024

Looking forward to EHRA2024

Berlin, 7-9 April 2024 - The annual meeting of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) is taking place again and we couldn’t be more excited to attend! This congress brings together scientists, healthcare professionals and other important stakeholders involved in arrhythmia management from all over the world. With the theme of this year being “Innovation and education to overcome arrhythmias”, we’re curious about the scientific work and exciting insights that will be presented. On the other hand, we’re also proud to say that a number of FibriCheck’s latest innovative studies will be presented at the congress, so make sure to be there!

Transforming the future of cardiology with PPG

FibriCheck is an innovative heart health tool based on PPG-technology. This technology allows us to measure the cardiac rhythm of our users with consumer-grade devices such as smartphones. In combination with our algorithm backed by AI, this allows us to detect heart rhythm disorders.

Over the last year, we’ve had significant breakthroughs in our technology, improving the accuracy and user-friendliness of our product, which has its impact on clinical care paths. In order to quantify these improvements, several clinical studies have been conducted. These studies compared FibriCheck to standard of care, demonstrating promising results both in post-cardiac surgery (randomised controlled trial) and post-AF ablation settings (prospective cohort study).

Besides the presentations of these studies, we’re also looking forward to the presentation of the EHRA/HRS/APHRS/LAHRS AF Ablation Consensus document, which is set to change the face of AF management. FibriCheck’s PPG-technology can add value to AF management by digitally transforming post-AF ablation clinics, which saves costs and time. Additionally, FibriCheck can provide actionable insights on intervention success rates, support informed clinical decision making, and offer longitudinal tracking of heart rhythm and symptoms.
