Looking forward and looking in the rear-view mirror

Tomorrow, at this time, I would have dipped my feet in the sea and walked up and down this boardwalk a few times in Ballito. Something to look forward to, a break from this busy 2024.

What happened up to this point if I checked the rearview mirror?

In the last few weeks, I've deeply immersed myself in the Five Lens Personal feedback report and the Enneagram and made quite a few changes in my life.

When I received my Feedback report from the 5 Lens Personal Feedback Report (Enneagram International), it was pretty rewarding to learn that you can make shifts by cognitively deciding to do so.

I enjoyed the self-coaching questions and chose a few things to focus on.

It also helped me identify a few blind spots and revealed a few things to me:

• My top type is 9-Harmony, so I tend to avoid rocking the boat. I naturally resolve conflicts around me, which makes perfect sense for the Team transformation work I love.
• As a business owner, I realised that we must often stand up for ourselves when clients want to disrespect our boundaries. By learning this about myself, I stood up for my contract and clauses in a recent dispute regarding a client cancelling sessions when the session was about to take place.
• I also identified areas I needed coaching on and enlisted a fellow NLP coach in Ireland who did a fantastic job.

I look forward to getting accredited to offer the 5-lens assessment and debrief to my clients, and I look forward to doing this at the start of your Leadership coaching journey.

Learning about yourself and seeing your blind spots can help you, as a leader, truly become the best version of yourself and access the nine lenses of the Enneagram.

In 2025, I look forward to further immersing myself in this learning journey to offer this as part of my Team transformation processes finally. My clients can also look forward to going on coaching journeys with me using this incredible tool.

Thank you for the wonderful work we did together this year. Looking back in the rear-view mirror, I see many leadership journeys, team transformation processes, and even some presentation coaching.

I coached an advertising agency to help them with a major pitch to a client and saw leaders

increase their resilience and their communication styles to stop rescuing and start delegating. I saw leaders increase their team's accountability and have major results.
