Looking forward to VMware EMPOWER Online APJ!

This time last year, I was just getting started at VMware and had just wrapped my first experience at EMPOWER, our largest partner readiness event in the region. It was so energizing meeting our partners and strategizing about how we could come together to build better customer experiences.

Fast forward to today, and things couldn’t look more different. But knowing our partners and customers need us more than ever, we couldn’t cancel this year’s event. So, we’ve moved everything online, removed all registration fees and built out new tracks so that partners get the detailed support they need to adapt to the new normal.

#VMwareEMPOWER Online takes place on the 4th of June, where you’ll hear from @Pat Gelsinger, @Jenni Flinders, @Duncan Hewett and myself, and be able to interact with 30 other VMware experts. You can even see me rehearsing for my session in the picture below.

We’ll cover all aspects of business strategy, sales and marketing and our latest technologies. Knowing how challenging the current climate is, this year’s agenda has been developed in collaboration with our partners. We have created two sessions entirely dedicated to business resiliency and also developed an APJ exclusive session on how to engage customers virtually given so many continue to work remotely.

For the technically minded, there are hands-on-labs, training and deep dives into new product solutions. And we’re also launching a competition called Odyssey Labs that pits partners against each other to solve technical challenges and win prizes.

In all there will be over 60 sessions available, meaning people will be able to shape their experience as they choose, on-demand. So while we might not be able to meet each other face-to-face for now, we hope you’ll still be able to join us on June 4th. See you there!
