Looking for a Lawyer in Recovery to Sit on the Board of Hope Place Centres
Are you both a lawyer and a friend of Bill W?
Hope Place Centres is an in-patient addiction treatment facility in Halton Region that serves both men and women. It has been accredited as a centre of best practices in governance, leadership and management in the field of mental health and addictions since 2013.
Hope Place believes to its core in abstinence-based recovery and is tremendously successful in helping addicts start their recovery journey 12 Steps at a time.
I am a former Board member (and current Advisory Board member) and I have been asked to see if I can help find another lawyer to sit on the Board. The Board is made up of a blend of passionate people who bring to the organization diverse professional skills and, in many cases, the clarity of many years of sobriety.
We would love to have a lawyer in recovery join the Board. However, we would also be happy to have a lawyer who has been affected by addictions in their life who wants to make a difference.
