Lpa and hCRP and other biomarkers testing opportunities. Naresh Chand, Ph.D., courtesy of www.myWellnessdevices.com
Dr. Chand’s family may have a significant genetic risk for high Lipoprotein A (Lp(a)) levels, affecting 10-30% of family members. Tragically, he has lost loved ones to cardiovascular diseases: his uncle (age 59), mother (age 59), nephew (age 37), and brother (stroke at age 79).
Despite the widespread use of blood pressure and lipid-lowering medications by over 90 million American adults, someone dies of cardiovascular disease every 33 seconds. A heart attack occurs every 30 seconds, a stroke every 40 seconds, and a dementia diagnosis every 65 seconds. Hidden factors such as high Lp(a), oxidized LDL, and comorbidities such as dehydration, constipation, dysbiosis, and stress may contribute to this alarming prevalence.
Southeast Asians are particularly at high risk for heart attacks and strokes. Inspired by her parents, Smita Chand is raising awareness about these critical health risks and sharing a significant opportunity with her community and extended family.
‼️ 𝙁𝙍𝙀𝙀 𝙈𝙀𝘿𝙄𝘾𝘼𝙇 𝙎𝘾𝙍𝙀𝙀𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙊𝙋𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙏𝙔 ‼️ Recently, my parents and I participated in a free local medical screening offered by Care Access in Montgomery Village. To our surprise, we received a $45 GIFT CARD for attending!
The screening primarily tested for Lipoprotein A (Lp(a)), a crucial indicator of heart disease and stroke risk. However, it also included additional important health biomarkers. Care Access still has slots available locally through Wednesday, and they have a permanent site in Baltimore for future visits. Don’t miss this opportunity! Share this information with anyone who might benefit from it.
