Project Trainee – Houston, TX, US

Job Description:

Should have L1 knowledge on Network (Cisco Switching & Routing), Compute (Windows + Linux), Storage (Nimble + Isilon), Backups (Acronis) and Firewalls

Candidates with experience working in a command center operations team with basic knowledge of ITIL Processes.

Good Communication skills – Written, Verbal and Email

Flexible with the shift timings

Knowledge in using ticketing tool like Service Now

Knowledge of SolarWinds monitoring tool

Ready to participate in corporate initiatives like Shift Left and Automation

Job Requirement:

Exhibits attention to detail in day-to-day activities.

Teamwork and collaboration

Ability to learn quickly and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Strong intellectual curiosity and affinity to technology.

Qualification:

A STEM undergraduate degree with a technical minor, a graduate degree with a technology focus, or completion of an accelerated learning program (accredited/state-licensed) in technology focused on foundational software development skills.

Technical curiosity and motivation to succeed. Well-rounded extra-curricular experiences, with demonstrated leadership. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Majors include Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer information Systems, Cyber Security, Management Information Systems (MIS) and Data Science, and others.
