The Magic of Communications

It's these conversations you have had that went well, or bad, even skipped/avoided that shape every aspect of your life.

The sad part is we were never taught how to communicate. Sure we are taught language: how to TALK.

We, however, were never taught how to listen, what to listen for, or how to make sure the other person knows you got what they said.

90% of you won't get this message, you'll find a typo, something grammatically wrong and your mind chases that squirrel down a path away from this never to return.

The key is that we do this in almost every conversation we are party to... You listen for something to say, something that allows you to talk again. We react, Never making the other person feel heard.

I'm not talking about public speaking, Toastmasters can teach that.

I've taken this on, I've been attending meetings, training, have coaches AND I regularly witness this changing lives.

For this next two years, I have surrounded myself with amazing people who want nothing more than to empower the world to get whatever it is that they want out of life and this starts with better communication.
