The main components parts of a shipping container

The main components of a shipping container consist of several key parts that work together to ensure its structural integrity and functionality. Here are some of the primary names of these container components:

Side Wall: Side Sheet: The primary metal plate that forms the sides of the container. Side Lining: The lining located inside the side sheet, used to increase strength and sound insulation. Side Post: The pillar that supports the side sheet.

End Wall: Front Sheet: The primary metal plate that forms the front and rear ends of the container. Front Lining: The lining located inside the front sheet. End Frame: The structural frame that supports the front sheet. End Post: The pillar that supports the front sheet.

Roof: Roof Beam: The crossbeam that supports the roof. Roof Sheet: The metal plate that forms the top of the container.

Floor: Floor Sheet: The metal plate that forms the bottom of the container. Bottom Beam: The crossbeam that supports the floor. Base Structure: Includes the bottom beam, floor sheet, and their connecting parts, collectively forming the bottom structure of the container.
