Major Victory for President and Special Forces
I am always proud of our U S Military and my service in the US Air force. Today there is even more reason for that pride. Our President and our special forces, yesterday, hunted down and killed Abu Al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS. A man responsible for the torture and deaths of thousands. Another step in our overall victory over terrorists. Another event, not as significant perhaps but adding to our pride in the US Military, Saturday night's Patriots Ball. We remember those forgotten, a tribute to Korean and Viet Nam Veterans. Hundreds of veterans, many in their uniforms, gathered to pay tribute to our comrades in arms. We must remember that many returned from Viet Nam and were disrespected upon their return. I sat with Colonel Wanda Wright and Representative Richard Andrade, my co chair of the Veterans Caucus. The speeches lauded those veterans who had served in those wars. On stage remembrances of those fighting men and women and a huge backdrop of the names of Arizonans killed in Viet Nam.
