Making The Best of a Crappy Situation

Making The Best of a Crappy Situation

The dog food brand JustFoodForDogs collaborated with NYC agency, Walrus , for a unique advertising campaign that involved placing tiny billboards inside dog poop around the city. I mean, that's pretty $H!TTY!
The purpose of the campaign was to educate dog owners about the importance of a healthy diet for their pets, as the state of a dog's poop can indicate the quality of its diet. The mini billboards, which included messages like "Soft poop means a dog's diet needs work," were placed by a street team hired by Walrus.
Despite initial doubts about the idea, the campaign proved to be successful in providing real-world education to dog owners. In addition to the poop ads, JustFoodForDogs also ran outdoor ads on bus shelters, taxi tops, and billboards throughout NYC and Brooklyn.
Talk about making the best of a really $H!TTY situation!
