This is an automated process and the information filters through to a new Payroll Summary tab so permissioned users can select a payroll and find high level information about the payrun e.g., Country, Company Code, Payroll name, Currency, Headcount, Payroll Period, Pay Date, and total amount for this pay run, the previous payrun, and the difference between the two.

Users have the option to insert comments about the payrun and speed up the approval process by providing context to the Approver. Supporting documents can be added in the event that an approver requires additional detail or wider context explanations, and the approval page can be downloaded to a PDF to facilitate audit preparations.

This tool removes the need for manual preparation of payroll summary data which saves a lot of time in the process while eliminating the likelihood of human error. We know that many global organizations use external software such as Blackline for this part of the process and this means logging into a 3rd party systems and manually adding comments for another person to review.
