Risk Flow Academy Expands: Watch Module 2 Now
We're pleased to unveil the latest addition to the Cytora Making Risk Flow Academy curriculum—our new module on "Risk Classification." This module dives deep into file classification systems and taxonomy design, both critical to digital risk flows for insurers.
Every insurer’s classification system is unique, and this module offers the tools and strategies to refine taxonomies for enhanced accuracy and seamless digital risk flows. By enrolling in this module you will learn how to improve data integrity and usability through optimized classification processes.
Plus, hear from our Product Manager, Remi Koplinski, as he demonstrates how these concepts come to life within the Cytora platform, with insights from Customer Success experts Hannah, Scott, and Guillaume.
Enroll in the Classification Module today and join the Making Risk Flow Community to get the latest insights and lessons directly in your inbox.

Layout Preserving Representations for Enhanced Layout Extraction
Forms that have complex and irregular multi column layouts provide additional challenges for data extraction, as text position provides important insights needed to determine which answer belongs to which question. To further improve performance when extracting from these documents we are introducing a new representation type which creates a text only version of a PDF while at the same time preserving layout and information alignment. This improvement is available directly in the File Service and will be available as an automatic update across all Risk Digitization flows without the need to change configuration.
Schema Driven Validation Rules for Enhanced Control, Accuracy and Automation
Available immediately it is now possible to define validation rules directly within schema configuration without the need for any additional workflow configuration creating powerful conditionality to drive end-to-end automation.
Schema Driven Validation Rules allows users to define specific validation rules for digitized field values directly in schema configuration. Today we launch support for confidence score, required values, value match pattern (e.g. claim number must match specific format) as well as the ability to nest rules in an AND/OR configuration. In cases where you either require data outside of Cytora systems to perform validation or can attempt to resolve validation failures within your own systems, schema digitizers also support the concept of “external” validation. In cases where these validation rules are not met, the platform triggers a built-in Quality Control workflow optimized for streamlined resolution of the specific risk fields that require validation.
With Schema Driven Validation Rules exception management is driven by specific field values and means exception management teams focus only on the fields that require validation enabling risk volume to scale relative to headcount and accelerating risk processing.
