Malmaison is Thrilled to be Teaming up with The Brain Charity

Malmaison is thrilled to be teaming up with The Brain Charity, a fantastic national organisation dedicated to spreading awareness about neurodiversity and offering support to individuals facing neurological conditions.

Over the next two years, we're diving headfirst into a series of initiatives designed to support both our neurodivergent team members and guests. This includes comprehensive neurodiversity training for our teams, as well as providing valuable tips for our guests on how to enhance their sleep quality. After all, good sleep is instrumental in maintaining optimal brain health! What’s more, we're offering our guests the chance to round up their bills, with the extra amount being donated to The Brain Charity.

Chad Smith, Head of Recruitment & Onboarding, took part in Rat Race's Man VS Mountain Challenge and raised £640 for The Brain Charity

Scott Harper, COO for Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, expressed: "At Malmaison & Hotel du Vin, we believe in making a positive impact on our communities, and this alignment fits perfectly with our values. Together with The Brain Charity, we are committed to championing neurodiversity and raising awareness with our staff and customers to foster a more inclusive experience, not only in our properties but helping to set a precedent for the hospitality industry as a whole."

Ray Begley, Group Maintenance Manager, abseiled 150 feet down Liverpool Cathedral and raised £2140 for The Brain Charity

Pippa Sargent, CEO of The Brain Charity, shared her excitement about the collaboration, stating: “We are truly honoured to team up with Malmaison & Hotel du Vin who have been enthusiastic in their commitment to champion our mission. We are really excited by the opportunity to increase public understanding and can’t wait to get to work putting our ideas into action. Our goal is to enable everyone impacted by neurodiversity or neurological conditions to lead longer, healthier, happier lives.”

With help from Pippa and the team at The Brain Charity, we are committed to implementing initiatives that will not only make a positive impact on neurodivergent employees and guests but also significantly raise awareness for the 1 in 6 people in the UK affected by a neurological condition, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, stroke, and dementia.
