A Man of True Character

After a unanimous decision my father has been finally inducted into the Montevallo Hall of Fame. Almost 50 years ago it has been long overdue. Words cannot express my gratitude to the board at Montevallo who voted unanimously and also Mark Richard the Athletic Director for seeing the wrong and making it right. The true character of a man lies within his dreams and his actions not what other thinks his actions should be. I am so happy and so excited for this and this celebration will be February 6, 2016. Montevallo you are about to induct one of your finest. He is not only a fighter but he is a man of integrity that got an education and followed a dream. I couldn't be happier and prouder. I told you Dean Wilkinson and Coach Jones we did it!!!!!
