Welcome to my new personal website at www.markpersaud.com Some of the articles chronicle my journey fleeing political and civil unrest and starting life in Canada as a homeless youth living on the streets on arrival in Toronto to becoming inter alia founder and director of several not for profit organisations helping the vulnerable then from social worker and advocate to lawyer, federal prosecutor, legal counsel to the RCMP and an adjunct law professor. A lot of my effort has focused on addressing discrimination and advocating for the most disadvantaged among us. Today, much of my time is spent mentoring students and young professionals.
