Mars/Pluto clash in the sky, & war breaks out in Middle East! #astrology

With a heavy heart, I write this post. As I talked about last week, we are now officially in Eclipse season. I posted these words five days ago, "Mars, the cosmic warrior, is exactly on the North Node in Aries; Eris, the goddess of discord and the sister of Mars, is right on the South Node of Karma in Libra."

I was discussing the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Libra, and some of the aspects at play. Over the summer, the Nodes of Fate changed signs and entered the Aries/Libra axis, where they will tour through January 12, 2025. The North Node in Aries directly set off the Solar Eclipse from April 20, 2023 that occurred at 29 degrees of Aries -- an anaretic degree of the sign, which encompasses all of the Mars-like energy.

Pluto, the power of power, death, cruelty, the underworld, big money, oil, rebirth, and transcendence, stations direct today on October 10, 2023 at 27 degrees and 53 minutes of the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn. This is the last time that Pluto gets back as far as 27 degrees of Capricorn. When an outer planet stations either retrograde or direct, it emphasizes the attributes of that outer planet. In the case of Pluto in Capricorn, there can be big power dynamics with governments or situations with big corporations (Capricorn).

With the Pluto station, much is uncovered. There are major departures. The situation in the Middle East mirrors the upcoming Annual Solar Eclipse that is right by the world point at 21 degrees of the Cardinal air sign of Libra and also sets off the unforgettable pairing of the two malefics of the Zodiac: Saturn, the planet of restriction and karma, and Pluto, the planet of endings. Saturn and Pluto met up right at the world point at 22 degrees of the Cardinal earth sign of Capricorn. That permanently brought down and changed the structures of our world, and this unpredictable Eclipse now sets off a lot of chaos.

When the outer planet stations, we feel the buildup of that planet five days before and five days afterwards. Mars, the planet of war, aggression, ambition, and drive -- and which is the lower octave of Pluto -- built up to a big battle with Pluto, planet of power, and this peaked on October 8, 2023 at 9:05 pm EDT at 27 degrees of the cardinal signs of Libra and Capricorn respectively. With both Mars and Uranus cycles, we always feel the effects of the clash or the blast before it becomes exact.

The part that is unsettling in all of this is that Mars and Pluto squared one another this weekend and set off the Total Solar Eclipse from back on April 20, 2023, which occurred at 29 degrees of the Cardinal fire sign of Aries, which happens to be ruled by the planet Mars, which is the planet of war. The Nodes of Fate directly set off this Solar Eclipse when they entered 29 degrees of the Cardinal signs of Aries and Libra on July 17, 2023 and set off that Eclipse, which was at an anaretic degree of Aries; the eclipse occurred at a critical and final degree of the sign of Aries and encompasses all of its lessons.

Pluto, the planet of power and death, squared with the Nodes of Karma three times in the month of July: the 23rd, the 25th, and the 28th. A lot of departures and changes in direction occurred at that time. This Solar Eclipse is less than a degree from the world point, which is at 0 and 22 of the Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. When a big transit or Eclipse occurs at the world point, you can expect big events. This Eclipse squares Pluto and brings a lot of endings and heaviness. The Pluto station occurs just four days before this Eclipse and emphasizes the endings further. This is a South Node Eclipse, which means that is something to let go in the process -- even though it is a New Moon Eclipse, and New Moon Eclipses are like New Moons on Steroids.

The unrest in the Middle East has been going on for years, but there was a big surge over the weekend with the Eclipse energy triggering the world point, and the major Pluto station on October 10th, which occurred just two days after Mars squared Pluto in the sky on October 8, 2023, and this is an aspect of war. Yesterday was the anniversary of peace icon John Lennon's birthday, and the world is now scrambling at war wondering how bad this can get. We have to pray to heal together with Saturn at the early degrees of Pisces and Neptune at the final degrees, which reminds us that we need to build and heal together.

Such sadness in the world and gut wrenching images that none of us can truly comprehend. Sending prayers to all that are impacted by these awful tragedies. #astrology #horosope #zodiac
