Mazda’s Commitment To Hope.

Mazda’s Commitment To Hope.

There are so many stories behind the Rescue Mission’s gates. Every day, real people with real stories enter our campus; people with stories of pain, loss, brokenness, homelessness, and poverty. At the Rescue Mission, not only do we want to give these individuals a chance to share their story, we want to give them a chance to change their story to one of joy, restoration, and hope.

Our friends at Mazda share this commitment to sharing stories of hope and redemption. We are proud to share that our very own Josh Wheelan, one of our upcoming graduates from the Rescue Mission program, has been featured in the Mazda Drive for Good nationwide campaign.

Josh came through our gates two years ago and has since then gone through our Double R Ranch men’s program in Warner Springs and came back to our Village of Hope facility in Tustin to complete his job workshop training and seek employment. He is now gainfully employed with Mazda and will graduate from the Rescue Mission next month. Josh’s story was one of pain and loss, but it is now a story of hope and restoration, a true testament to God’s redemption and power.

I would like to thank my friend John Patterson from Mazda, for sharing Josh’s story, which is similar to many who come to the Rescue Mission. It is a great joy to me to see lives changed and restored, and it is important that these stories be shared and spread. Please take a look at Mazda’s video by clicking here.
