MDMS Project Manager - must be local to Boston - c2c welcome, contract position

I am looking for a MDMS Project Manager for our premier client in Boston, Massachusetts. Must be local to Boston.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Technical Requirements and Certifications »PMP or Agile PM certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, ICP).

• Education and Experience »Project management experience with meter-to-cash systems preferred.
• Project Manager with 10+ years of experience working directly on large system implementations.
• Subject matter expertise for large scale projects involving technology implementation and process change or being responsible for processes and systems related to meter reading, meter data management, billing, customer care functions, or related activities.
• Utilities industry (gas/electric) experience required.
• Experience implementing an AMI solution for a Tier-1 utility.

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »Knowledge of meter data management systems, metering technology and meter reading head end systems is required.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills to assist with presentations.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong skills in MS Project or Agile Project Management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to juggle multiple in-flight items.
• Detail oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Job Responsibilities:Develops strategy for meter reading and meter data management systems, including MDMS and MV-90 operations and replacement strategies.
• Develops and manages the project area budgets, both operational and maintenance expense and capital projects.
• Develops strategic metering plans, including the design, development, testing and deployment of new systems and technologies in collaboration with other Eversource stakeholders, such as Meter Operations, Meter Reading and Engineering.
• Determines requirements for key operational reports and KPI calculations associated with new MDMS technology implementations, ensuring requirements of external stakeholders such as customers, state regulators, ISO-NE and FERC are met.
• Ensures the health and continuous improvement of the meter to bill process in conjunction with Quality Assurance and Customer Experience.
• Works with meter operations and meter reading departments to ensure MDMS strategies achieve desired results.
• Works with internal/external stakeholders to develop strategies and requirements for all metering system interfaces, including meter data collection systems, MDMS and Customer Information Systems.
• Manages continuous improvement activities for meter data management processes, including operational trends, internal and external benchmarking, identification of industry “best practices,” and oversight of technology implementation and process improvement teams.
• Monitors operational trends and system applications related to the meter to bill process.
