MEAN GIRL, MEAN WOMAN MENTALITY
Each of us women have been one or have met one of them - the mean girl or woman in your life journey.. I remember my first encounter with a mean group of girls when I was in high school at Bugandi back in the 90s. These girls were the queen bees of our grade and made sure all the girls know that they were the top of the food chain..
They were so mean to me and maybe few other students.. They pick and made fun of me because I live in the village and commute to Lae for school every day (not that we can't afford to live in Lae but why would we do that when my dad has a company car and we live like 30 minutes from Lae) - somehow my situation gave them the right to tease me.. I had to get in a fight with one of the girls and the Principal intervene that ended their teasing.. I am now friends with these girls and sometimes, I look like at how life's cards were dealt to each of us and I am so grateful to God that I turned out okay..
Women don't have to wonder about the definition of mean girl mentality because we coined it.Somehow and somewhere along the way, we got the idea that putting another woman down would elevate us. Whether we criticize her appearance, her personality or her situation, we are somehow under the impression that we will improve as she deteriorates. By engaging in the mean girl phenomenon, we are actually hindering ourselves from walking in the fullness of our potentials, our greatness and what God has plan for us. If we allow ourselves to be vulnerable with each other and embrace each other with understanding. We should get rid of our feelings of hatred, don't just pretend to be good, be done with dishonesty, jealousy and talking about others behind their backs. We should learn to grow into the fullness of our true selves anointed by our Father..

5yWonderful testament of what a true woman is, maybe if all women in PNG could raise up together our beautiful country would be in a better situation then it is now.
