Meet Brand Ambassador Nitish Abhishek, Associate Manager, Graphics CoE
How has your career progressed at Hackett?
I completed my diploma in animation and film making and started my career as 3D Animator and I now work as corporate designer. At The Hackett Group I mostly work on marketing collateral and motion graphics. As part of my team, I support the creation of marketing research papers, social graphics and animation videos, including GIFs.
What's the most important thing you've learned here? OR What perspective have you gained that has helped you professionally or personally?
I learned how striking the perfect balance between individual autonomy and cohesive teamwork can do wonders for your personal and professional growth. Having insightful design leadership not only boosts productivity but also enhances the quality of every project undertaken, benefiting both individual and collective success. Working at The Hackett Group means being part of a team that values integrity, diversity, and continuous learning, providing ample opportunities for creativity, growth and development.
What are the most important things in your life?
The most important thing in my life apart from family and work is art, I love doing art almost every single day. I enjoy both traditional and digital art. For traditional art, I use pencil, ink, markers, and watercolors; and for digital art, I use apps such as Procreate and Procreate Dreams. Creating art serves as a meditative process for me and offers a mindful escape. It is a great refuge, a sanctuary from the daily hustle and bustle of life. And most importantly, it keeps me grounded and at peace. My artistic interest surely motivated me to pursue a career in design!

Any interesting charity or volunteer work?
I am often invited to conduct volunteer art workshops at local institutions. Running art workshops for fellow enthusiasts is an absolute joy! It's this incredible exchange of creative energy where we dive into colors, techniques and ideas together, creating a space that's not just about art but a shared celebration of our passion. And sharing my knowledge and experience is so delightful. Watching students’ eyes light up with understanding and enthusiasm is the most rewarding part.
What's your core philosophy when it comes to work?
My core philosophy is always to look for feedback and never take things personally. Embracing feedback as a valuable tool for improvement is essential in fostering personal and professional growth. Cultivating resilience involves understanding that constructive feedback is aimed at refining our skills and contributions, ensuring a continuous journey of development without taking it personally.
