Meet Maria, Project Manager on the GMS Team

We want to introduce you to Maria Garcia , a Project Manager on our Global Media Solutions (GMS) Team in London, UK. We are excited to show you a glimpse into her world and peek behind the curtain of a typical day for her at TKWW. 

What has your journey working at TKWW? How long have you been with the company and how did you come to apply for the job?

"I have been working for the TKWW for nine months now, and I can say that it’s been an enriching experience so far. I applied to this role as the wedding industry was an appealing factor, and I can say it is a really interesting field where we work towards creating the most special day of someone’s life."

Describe a typical day in your life working at TKWW.

"A typical day in my role is to make sure that the campaigns that my clients have paid for are successfully delivered. I manage GMS digital campaigns from end to end for the Hitched market, ensuring that all our UK clients feel they couldn’t be in better hands and get great results that impact their wedding businesses."

How does it look to work for a global company? How do you work with teams around the globe? 

"Working for a global company is a great advantage for any employee. You are in constant contact with teams all over the globe, which always bring you insights into how people live in other places, their cultures, etc."

What is your favorite part of working for TKWW? 

"My favorite part of the job is my colleagues. From day 1, they took care of me, helping to get myself settled in my new role and in the company, and I couldn't have asked to be surrounded by better people! We do support each other daily, and that's one of the values within the company #wewintogether"

What is your favorite part of working in your role?

"The fact that I am in contact with so many different people daily. As part of my day is being in contact with clients from different wedding sectors or colleagues from many other departments within TKWW, my day goes away talking to different people, which is what I love about this role!"

What do you do outside of work? What do you do for fun?

"I am lucky to live in a city like London that never stops moving, so I try to do the same outside of work. I love discovering new places around the city, and although I have been in London for the past nine years, there's still a lot to see. I also love dancing, singing, and going to the gym in my free time! "
