Meet our one of the smartest Accounting Intern-Ms. Doan Thi Hang!! We appreciate her dedication to learn and grasp !

Let's start with your introduction!

My name is Hang, Doan Thi Hang. I am a third-year students in National Economics University and my major is auditing. I started working as accountant – tax intern in SCS on August 1st and will end my internship on October 31st.

Why have you chosen to work in finance?

Firstly, of course, because I love it and I don’t think there is any field which is suitable for me than finance. Secondly, I was good at math when I’m in high school so I think finance is the best choice for me to work in the future.

Tell us about your experience so far with SCS?

In SCS I was instructed to make list of input and output invoices, check files’ information, printout accounting books, make summary and detailed VAT invoices file… I regret that I tested positive for COVID-19 and needed to isolate for about 10 days so my first month in SCS was too short to learn further knowledge and skills. I hope I can learn and work more in my next two months.

Who is your idol leader in SCS and what you admire the most about him/her?

All members of SCS are kind and keen on guiding me, not only my instructor, so all of them are my idol leaders. Also, I would say thing I admire the most about them is their technical knowledge and professional working behaviour. I have learned a lot and I really appreciate it.

What is your short term and long term vision?

My major is auditing and I want to work as an auditor after I graduate. But to promote my knowledge as well as my skills, I want to be an accountant first and I think SCS is the best ideal place for me to do it. I think three-month internship in SCS will be one of the most valuable experience in my career path.

What kind of skills you want to learn while working in SCS?

I would say it is Excel skill. My excel skills is not bad honestly, but while I observed members working I feel that I need to learn excel more to work fast and professional like them.

Any message/opinion you would like to share with your fellow interns/students for their career ahead?

As I mentioned above, I want to be an auditor in long-term future so maybe I won’t work as an accountant, but if their role they want is an accountant I think SCS should be one of their priority. So my message for them is in the future if SCS have personnel recruitment, please don’t hesitate to apply.
