Meet Silver Snipers, the senior CSGO team that will be at Dreamhack Winter

Gaming is full of prejudice. It is true that the vast majority come from outside and we are talking about those who reduce a huge and complex industry to “little games”. But there are also prejudices on this side of the fence and one of them is thinking that someone is too old to play. Thus, we see how, often, some of the players well into their thirties are called "grandfather". Lovingly most of the time, but it says something.
Perhaps it was this that prompted the initiative of Silver Snipers, a Swedish CSGO team whose average age is 71 years. Under the tutelage of former SK Gaming celebrity Tommy "Potti" Ingemarson, this team consists of Abbe “BirDie” Drakborg, Monica “Teen Slayer” Idenfors, Bertie “Berra Bang” Englund, Wanja “Knitting Knight” Godange and Oivind” Windy” Toverud.
Silver Snipers will be present at the Dreamhack Winter that will take place at the Elmia Convention Center, located in Jönköping, Sweden. We will have to see how many dare to challenge them and if they are surprised. For now "Teen Slayer" is a suggestive name.
