Mehtaphysical Musings: We’re All Part of the Tortured Poets Department

Guess who’s back... Back again. It's been a while, but we're back with Mehtaphysical Musings. Not that you missed it too much, right? I know you've all been busy keeping up with the whirlwind that is 2024. Nevertheless, I’m thrilled to dive back in and chat about everything from the latest in Customer Success to Taylor Swift’s new album (OMG, RIGHT?!) and the rapidly changing world of Generative AI.

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

"Stop trying to make fetch happen!"— Regina George's iconic line from that one movie (Mean Girls) about high school.

But at Gainsight, we're all about making success for our customers happen. So, what do Regina George, Silicon Valley, and wearing pink on Wednesdays all have in common? Not much, actually…But in honor of the iconic Mean Girls movie reboot, we've unleashed our inner plastics. And in the world of SaaS, "you can't sit with us" unless you're keeping up with the cloud.

As we gear up for our upcoming Pulse event on May 15 & 16 in St. Louis, get ready for some surprises that are just as fun as the Mean Girls in SaaS. One of the era-defining topics we'll dive into is Generative AI and how it can be harnessed to enhance the work of our teammates, customers, and investors.

As humans, there is a natural combination of fear and excitement around Generative AI. At Gainsight, we know that the transformative power of AI enables customer-facing teams to focus on what they truly enjoy—building genuine connections with their customers. Nothing is more topical for the CS community than AI. Everything about using AI to help humans, and we’ll be sharing more on Human-First AI at Pulse (with a sprinkle of high school nostalgia). Here are some things you can do to plan for Pulse next month:

  • Register for Pulse here, if you haven’t yet.
  • Check out the agenda with 70+ workshops/sessions, 125+ speakers, 16+ networking events, and more.
  • Join the virtual Pulse party on our Community webpage here, so we can count down the days and celebrate together.

Current Mood

TFW you’ve spent the last three days listening to Taylor Swift’s new album on repeat… Absolutely mind-blowing!

As a SaaS CEO, diving into 'The Tortured Poets Department' (or TTPD for us cool kids…) repeatedly feels like an exclusive club. Who else can relate?
