Men are Wearing Makeup, Face it. An Interview with Nolan Robert of Eleven for Men.

The Huffington Post reported on a survey of 1,000 men in the US and UK conducted by JWT, men are increasingly feeling the pressure to beautify themselves and they are buying and using more and more skincare and makeup (yes, I said makeup) in order to look their best. Patty Schmucker’s guest this week on RadioAMB, Nolan Robert of Eleven for Men, knows this firsthand. Nolan started out in musical theater doing his own makeup and then later on worked behind the Mac counter. His experience has helped him develop a line of makeup that is suited specifically for men’s needs.

Having the experience of developing a makeup line earlier on in his career, Nolan was able to learn from his prior mistakes to create a new line that found inspiration from his life experiences, his special connection to his spirituality and his lucky number….eleven. Nolan discusses how he is developing a new brand of products that are designed for the special needs of men. Hear about his thinking to develop the right textures, packaging and psychology that has lead the product development process.
