Mental Health at Work in 2025: Let's Gooooooo!!!

Mental Health at Work in 2025: Let's Gooooooo!!!

Welp, here we are! This year is coming to a close, y’all, and I CAN’T BELIEVE how much my tiny mighty team and I accomplished in 2024. Here are the mondo YAYS that I’m tickled to highlight:

And we are in the process of finalizing our plans to go even BIGGER in 2025!

So what did I learn about leadership in 2024? These 3 things hit me like a ton of bricks, and I’ll carry these sentiments with me forever:

  1. Just because I'm scared to do something doesn't mean I can't do it.
  2. Finding the right people matters so much for your team.
  3. You never know if something will or won't work unless you try.

Here’s what we’ve been up to so far in December:

Keep Your Eyes Peeled For a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT in January 2025!

I have something to share with you in January 2025, I’ll be making a big announcement about another special somethin’ somethin’ for leadership mental health! It will be available in either late 2025 or early 2026. When you get your hands on it… eek! Have I said too much!?

Ugh I really despise having to be patient.

📣 We’re HIRING in Q1!

I can’t believe I’m saying this but we’re already looking to expand our team! Stay tuned for the details on my LinkedIn feed coming in early January 2025, and tell your friends (forward them this email)!

LinkedIn Learning - Have You Heard The Latest?

My LinkedIn Learning course 'Talking About Mental Health As A Leader' is going to be translated into BOTH Portuguese (available in April) and Mandarin (available in March). ICYMI, I posted about the Portuguese translation on LinkedIn a while back, here's the link.

It is absolutely incredible to me and I’m so thankful that this guidance is crossing cultural and language boundaries. This is a critical topic that we ALL have a vested interest in getting right.

As if my squeals weren’t loud enough already, my LinkedIn Learning course 'Navigating the Emotional Toll and Stress of Leadership' is now included in their ’Succeeding as a Senior Manager Professional' Certificate (read more in my recent post). ICYMI my other LinkedIn Learning course ‘Talking About Mental Health as a Leader’ is also in the ‘Human Skills for Managers’ Professional Certificate.

AND, (last one I promise), I was also included in the LinkedIn for Nonprofits Team recommendation list for workplace mental health skills courses. I’m beyond grateful to have this spotlight on #MentalHealthAtWork and to see that the content is resonating! LinkedIn - thanks for the love - and for helping me spread this message!

SXSW Austin + SXSW London in 2025 - Oh My!

AUSTIN: I'm going to be a Mentor at SXSW 2025 in Austin where 5 lucky folks will get 1:1 mentoring with yours truly on Mental Health at Work. If you aren’t registered to attend March 7-15, check out the conference and festival badges here.

LONDON: I’ll be (hopefully!) crossing the pond (back to my old digs!) for my first international SXSW experience! I applied to speak at SXSW London 2025 with a fellow author to explore (drumroll please, and no shocker for those of you who know me), the mental health benefits and the case for cursing at work!

Want to learn about the #mentalhealth benefits of dropping an F-bomb? Then please vote for my 2025 SXSW London fireside interview proposal — FFS: The Case For Swearing at Work!

If this proposal wins, London will be treated not only to my potty mouth but also to that of creative cursing pioneer Sarah Royal, (P.S. I’m fangirling that she wrote a book about Lucille Ball and Amy Poehler wrote the forward for it - no big deal) along with some awesome science and actionable tools.
