MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HANUKKAH!!
It's the most wonderful time of the year. And on this, the most wonderful day, Christmas and Hanukkah are coming. On the same date.
Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, is celebrated on the same day December 25, each year. This year, Judaism's eight-day Festival of Lights begins at sundown on Wednesday, December 25, aka Christmas Day. It's a rarity — the first time that particular holiday conjunction has occurred only four times in the last 100 years.
We wish you a very Merry Christmas, a Very Happy Hanukkah, and a Prosperous New year!
We all must remember that their are many of our troops deployed around the world and cannot be home for the holidays. Here are some photos from Southwest Asia over 30 years ago. It is Christmas blast from the past, 1993, our card from "paradise," Taif AB, Saudi Arabia. Despite what it appears, we all had a quite memorable time deployed.
