micebook 2024 review and what’s in store for 2025

With the festive season in full swing, and the new year fast approaching, now is the perfect time to reflect on the past year, thank our wonderful community for all your support, and give you a sneak preview of what we have in store for 2025!

Let’s start with our year in numbers…

21,000 miles travelled to experience Australia NEXT which took place in Cairns with a post FAM to Sydney

47 buyers and suppliers travelled to Paris via Eurostar (which saves around 90% carbon emissions compared to flying)

22 agency leaders dinned in the MACH II private dining room at The Peninsula Hotels London

50 luxury event specialists gathered to discuss responsible luxury at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, A Belmond Hotel , for our inaugural micebook LUXE event.

1 epic party bus in Paris

35 members joined our new and growing Corporate Collective community of corporate event heads, launched this year by our Buyer Community Director Jo Beames

300th edition of our weekly Departure Lounge newsletter, which now has 23,546 subscribers

4 new micebook team members – Shannon S. as communications and content creator, Nicolas Sancho as director of growth and creative strategy to head up our new X by micebook event, Elissa Wilson as buyer and events community executive, and Petra Kluk as a creative collaborator on our events and operations team

6,826 LinkedIn followers. We also launched our LI newsletter, which has almost 3.5k subscribers.

500 Candy Kittens (our on-site snack of choice) eaten by the team during our events (not exactly sure of the number, could be more, could be less)

This are just a few of many highlights across the year and the team are already busy planning a bumper year for 2025, with two brand new events…
