Microsoft's AI App Store Likely to Dominate the AI Industry
Happy Sunday 😄
In this week's Applied Intelligence newsletter:
Producing personal brand content at scale, how I do it:
I'm often asked how I have the time to produce the volume of personal brand content that I do across multiple social media channels. The truth is, I don't have the time to do it.
What I do have - is support from an incredible video content agency called Docfluencer.
Using Gary Vee's framework of taking one piece of content and scaling it across multiple social channels, I spend 30 minutes per week brainstorming the content pieces I want to make. I allocate another hour a week to creating the content and then leave all the post-production and posting to each social channel to the team at Docfluencer.
One of the most efficient ways to create a tonne of content is doing video podcasts. Why? From the long-form video, the Docfluencer editors:
Gary Vee's guide to the above process is in the Slideshare below:
Disclosure: Docfluencer is owned and run by my darling wife, Sabrine Elkhodr - reach out to her here for help getting started with video content for your personal brand or business.

Microsoft is creating the AI app store of the future.
Microsoft announced at #MSBuild that they're creating a unified ecosystem of plugins. That means the ChatGPT plugins will also be supported in Microsoft's Co-pilot. In other words, Microsoft is creating the next generation of the App Store.
When the App Store came out on top of the iPhone, it enabled businesses like Instagram and Uber to create apps and exist on the iPhone.
With a unified plugin system, people and businesses can create apps on top of these large language models, whether you use Chat GPT or Microsoft Copilot. There's a massive opportunity to build plugins for specific business use cases.
We're going to see more enormous opportunities than the creation of the App Store, as there will be entire B2B software companies built within this Microsoft AI ecosystem.
Whiteboards don't cut it for me, so I went lux.
My main job is to solve problems and make money/add value. I do this best on a whiteboard.
But plastic whiteboards are tacky, smudge a lot, and don't fit my office aesthetic. Digital/connected whiteboards I've used to date are over-engineered and overpriced, and I have yet to have a good experience with one.
So, after much research I decided to mount this 4"x3" glass blackboard in my office - right next to my desk. I use it multiple times daily, and it helps me work through my tasks much faster as I can stand up, write it all up and then connect the dots. I find sitting at my desk much more challenging to do this creative/problem-solving work.
