Mid-year YOU review :
BIG ideas for BIG careers start small with Licia Dewing Career Strategist

Mid-year YOU review :

July is an auspicious month; to reflect, re set and realign.

A date in time which is made even more auspicious by YOU.

You being you,

You being here, right now,

and You wanting to make an even bigger impact in your world through your work.

My invitation to you in July is to celebrate all that you are with a mid-year YOU review.

Please know that this is not the time or place for negative self-talk about all the

should ~haves

would~ have’s and could ~ haves for the first 6 months of the year.

Do your very best with what you have, from exactly where you are.

Embrace that which you don’t do well with an open heart (ever heard me try sing, totally tone deaf, but that doesn't stop me belting out Adele every now and then- Embrace with an Open Heart) and then run like you're on fire towards that which you do well.

Those of you have worked with me know that I teach & preach shine a light on your strengths- on Why you do what you do and How you do it so amazingly well because the world needs to see, hear and know about that bright shining totally unique light of yours.

Mid-Year You Review 3 - Step Strategy

Step 1:

Answer the following 5 questions- from January this year.

1. What or who inspired you the most?

2. What did you do that made you feel proud?

3. What have you learnt?

4. What can you do differently?

5. What support do you need?

Step 2:

Take Action- here are some suggested ways

1. What or who inspired you the most? = Let them know and show your appreciation.

2. What did you do that made you feel proud? = Do more of that again & again & again etc…

3. What have you learnt? = Own it and make it yours so as not to repeat the lessons learnt.

4. What can you do differently? = Make this time specific and review this weekly.

5. What support do you need? = Create an environment of support for yourself; this in turn creates an environment of care for others.

Step 3:

Hold Yourself Accountable

1. Send me an email and tell me exactly when you will complete your mid-year YOU review.

By sending me this date you are committing to actually doing it and yes, I will hold you accountable.

(Licia@careerstrategist.co.za)

2. Set a date for your next review; end of year YOU review.

By making your personal reviews a habit and annual routine you are holding yourself accountable to move towards your own growth.

I read every email, and more than anything love to learn that I have helped move you closer to your own growth.

Happy mid- year YOU to you!

You’ve got this and I’m with you,

BIG love

Licia
