A talent recognized beyond the borders of Romania. A man, with golden hands, and full inspiration as I like to say :D
I remember even now, when I was no more than 10 years old, how much I wished I could wear his #shoes. A child's wish, infatuated with all things art.
Today I'm talking about you, Mihai Albu , because you #deserve #it!

Happy Birthday to a man, who sixty-one years ago, breathed for the first time. To a man, who leaves his mark all over the world and especially, in the hearts of all the women who had the opportunity to wear his creations.
#MihaiAlbu is a fashion designer and architect from Romania, known as the Shoe Architect, nicknamed as such by the press.
He began his professional career while still studying architecture at university, before the Revolution in Romania. He has appeared in various trade magazines, including Vogue Italia.
Mihai Albu is listed alongside Alexander McQueen, Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin in the Shoegasm encyclopedia ! The only Romanian accessories designer, who has so far managed to secure a stable place in the international press alongside names like this. It seems that repeated appearances in Vogue magazine were just the beginning for the shoe architect.
Combining the traditional craftsmanship of creating shoes and Romanian architectural "savoir-faire", Mihai Albu designs sophisticated, feminine and ingenious collections for the modern and independent woman.
After Mihai entered the Guinness World Records , by creating the world's #highest #heels, 31 cm, the #designer #wanted #more... so has created a pair of #ankle #boots whose heels are 6 cm higher than those that held his own record.
