Dear Seeker,

This week, surrender to the sacred art of self-love.

To celebrate the launch of their new course Love Alchemy, this week’s newsletter is taken over by the radiant guides Jane Marle, Aya Monteverde & Mahima Razdan. They infused this edition with reflections, rituals, and tools to awaken your inner affection.

Immerse in our Mindful Moment, a lush sound journey by Jane Marle invoking rest, replenishment and full embrace of your exquisite essence.

In a world that privileges hustle over nourishment and critique over compassion, we invite you to kindle the flame of unconditional love within. May these resources nourish your heart and inspire you to shower yourself with more compassion.

Only love to you. Happy Monday!

Mindful Moment by Jane Marle

Close your eyes and take a deep breath as the first crystal bowl tones begin to resonate. Feel the harmonic vibrations permeate your body, mind, and soul and be guided by Jane's meditation.

The ethereal sounds carry an intention of unconditional love and acceptance. Breathe it into every cell. You are worthy of love simply for the light you are. Whenever you need, return to the remembrance of this sound journey. Its love is always with you, resonating through every fibre of your being. You are so loved.

Energy Moment By Tor Njamo

Over the next week, a wave of red energy will wash over the ethers. So be patient with yourself and others. You may feel a bit more irritable than usual and sense that you need to care extra for grounding yourself.

You may also have more energy to create this week; however, ensure you channel it to the right places.

The affirmation for the week is: I stand in my own strength.

Wellness Moment by Aya Monteverde

Give your body, mind and soul some love when you sit down to consume your next meal with these Ayurvedic principles by Aya Monteverde.

Sit down comfortably and find a calming atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your meal without distractions. Before you begin, take in a few, slow breaths in and out to centre yourself and bring yourself to the present moment. Take a few moments to express gratitude for what you are about to eat - to Mother Nature that provided the resources for the ingredients to grow, for the effort that it took to prepare the meal, and the nourishment that it will bring to your body.

As you consume your meal, stay in the present moment by fully engaging the senses. Savour each bite and notice every sensation - the colours, the textures, the smells, the flavours. Make sure to chew properly - some say you should chew every bite up to 54 times for optimal digestion! An emphatic reminder of the role of our teeth and saliva in the digestive process, and the importance of slowing down. Only take a few sips of water if necessary, as excessive water intake can dilute the digestive juices that are necessary for proper digestion.

When you finish your meal, take another moment to acknowledge the joy that comes from looking after your body in this way. You should feel satisfied but not too full - your stomach should be about 75% full to allow for comfortable digestion. Ease back into your activities after about 20 minutes to give your stomach enough time to process and settle.

Ritual Moment by Aya Monteverde

Enhance the feeling of love in your life through the practice of abhyanga - a self-soothing oil massage that is the cornerstone of Ayurvedic healthcare. Sneha means both oil and love in Sanskrit, which shows the direct link between enveloping one’s body with oil and affection.

Warm up some oil and lather it over your body. This is typically done before taking a shower, in which case you can start with dripping some warm oil on the top of your head and massaging it into your scalp in small circular movements. Apply more oil to cover your entire head, including the nape of your neck. Massage your ears and your face, from the centre outwards, with gentle strokes to encourage circulation, before moving to your neck and applying light pressure as you stroke downwards.

Now apply enough oil to cover your arms in a circular motion, before applying pressure downwards from shoulder to wrist several times in a rhythmic flow. Massage your hands, stroking each finger individually. Moving to your torso, apply oil and massage using larger, circular strokes, both to your front and back. Massage over your chest and heart gently and send yourself an affirmation of love and care. When you massage over your abdomen, always stroke in a clockwise motion to support the natural downward movement of the intestines. Massage the buttocks, using large clockwise circular motions, and then travel down each leg with both hands, circling around the knee cap and the ankles. Lastly, gently stroke your feet, massaging between the bones of your feet and stroking each toe individually, before finishing off with coating the soles of your feet.

Practice a short meditation or visualisation for love while you wait for the oil to be absorbed into the skin, which should take about 20 minutes. Once the oil has been absorbed, you can wash it off in a hot shower using a mild scrub or soap. The heat will open up the pores and allow any toxins dislodged by the massage to be properly eliminated from the body.

Reflection Moment by Mahima Razdan

Self-Love & Challenging Negative Self-Talk with Mahima.

Our minds are powerful tools that are shaped by repetition. Over time, the words and beliefs we consistently hear, especially during our formative years, can embed themselves deeply within us. These words, be they from parents, teachers, or friends, can be both uplifting and detrimental. When negative, this self-talk can form barriers that prevent us from embracing love, both from others and from ourselves. It's essential to challenge these ingrained notions and replace them with affirming beliefs. This journal prompts will guide you in identifying, understanding, and transforming these negative perceptions.

  • Prompt 1: List down any negative beliefs or thoughts you often find yourself thinking or feeling about yourself.
  • Prompt 2: For each belief, try to trace back to where or who it might have originated from. Was it a particular incident, a repeated phrase from someone, or a generalised societal expectation?
  • Prompt 3: Start to question these beliefs. For each negative thought, write down at least two pieces of evidence from your life that prove the belief is not accurate or true.
  • Prompt 4: Reflect on the emotion each belief brings up. How does it make you feel? How does it impact your daily life or decisions?

Positive Affirmations Practice

To conclude your journaling session, practice some positive affirmations. Repeat the following to yourself, and write down any feelings or thoughts that arise:

  • "I am enough."
  • "I am deserving of love."
  • "I am worthy of happiness and success."
  • "I define my self-worth, not my past or others' words."

By continuously practicing this exercise, you'll be able to slowly replace those ingrained negative beliefs with positive affirmations. Over time, this will help cultivate a mindset of self-love and self-worth.
