From maintaining strong bones and teeth to supporting nerve function and energy production, minerals play a crucial role in numerous bodily processes. Yet, despite their significance, they often take a backseat to macronutrients and other ‘more marketable’ topics in discussions about nutrition. The key to unlocking our true potential lies within the simple yet neglected understanding of our basic function. 

Thesis statement:  Understanding your nutrition through the lens of mineral intake and absorption will do more for your health and vitality than any supplement plan or 'diet'.

These enzymatic activities are necessary for various processes, including energy production, metabolism, and DNA synthesis:  A complicated way to say that minerals are VITAL for every process in our bodies!!!

***Important: Illness, disease, fat storage - all the things that you see a doctor for (and leave with a pill subscription for life) - these things can be cured holistically.  Step 1 would be maintaining a healthy balance of minerals.  And no, most of the foods you get in the grocery store do not have minerals.  And YES, most of the supplements you are buying have genetically modified and processed minerals THAT YOUR BODY CANNOT ABSORB.  Useless, yet expensive…
