A Minute of Mindfulness: Pause, Reflect, Refresh

Ever find yourself lost in the intricate dance of event planning, where hours fly by and your to-do list only seems to grow longer?   1. Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the ground.
  2. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in, filling your lungs completely.
  3. Exhale slowly and imagine any stress or tension leaving your body.
  4. Focus on the sensation of your breath entering and leaving your nostrils or the rise and fall of your chest or belly.
  5. If your mind wanders (and it will), gently bring your attention back to your breath.
  6. Open your eyes after a minute (or longer if you can spare the time) feeling refreshed and grounded.
