Mission Impossible: The Information Highway!

Mission Impossible: The Information Highway!

I plan on changing the data warehouse industry, or I will die trying! I have been on a quest for the past 18 years to do what some deem impossible: build software for every user in a company that queries all systems, joins data across all systems, and moves and migrates tables and entire databases automatically. So, of course, I gave the software and the project the name Nexus because it is the intersection between all database systems.

The dream is coming together beautifully. The most difficult thing to do in the computer industry is to get different database platforms (legacy and cloud) to talk to one another, but we have done it. However, there are still a few holes in the system before the information highway is complete. For example, we can move tables from every database to Snowflake, Yellowbrick, Amazon Redshift, and Azure Synapse. Still, we didn't automate from the before mentioned systems back to all of the legacy systems.

After reevaluating our current status, we did a redesign to simplify the process of database platform conversion of the table structures (DDL) and the load utility scripts from each vendor. We believe we are only months away from moving to and from 20 different systems in all directions. The migration includes Microsoft Access, Excel, Google BigQuery, and everything in between. We are about to make the impossible possible by allowing users to not only migrate and move data automatically between all systems, but users can then use the Nexus Super Join Builder to join data across all systems in our information highway.

Even better yet, we are including flat files that Nexus migrates to a local source, AWS S3, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Our Nexus customers can query, join, migrate, backup, or restore data almost anywhere it exists, and we have automated everything over the past 18 years.

If your company wants the best query tool, or if users use different tools for different databases, then Nexus is the perfect solution. If your company wants to begin storing data on the cloud and still have access to it, then Nexus is the perfect solution for you. If your company wants users to query systems across databases, then Nexus is the answer. Finally, if management understands that business and IT need to integrate data in an easy-to-use automated fashion, then our futures are now tied together.

I look forward to a long and potentially wonderful partnership.

Nobody in this industry spent the past two decades on this mission, and that is why we will be the first to deliver software (Nexus) that makes all systems in your enterprise work like one giant ecosystem!

Please call me for a demo or some trial licenses. I will keep you posted over the next several months as we perfect the information highway.
