Mobile & Wireless Roundup #18

Mobile & Wireless Roundup #18

Welcome to the 18th edition of this newsletter. As a die-hard fan of Twitter, I am a bit surprised by all that’s going on there. Hopefully it will reach a conclusion soon with the service continuing to work normally, as most users have gotten used to.

We sometimes take connectivity and power for granted. I just found out this week that remote locations on the Navajo Nation, also known as Navajoland, a Native American reservation in the United States, is getting electricity for the first time. You can read more about it here. They are still waiting for clean running water though.

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a technologist with over 23 years’ experience in mobile wireless technology, currently working as an independent analyst, consultant and a trainer. This newsletter is a summary of my posts and others news that caught my attention since the last newsletter.
