MONTSERRAT, IS THE HOLY MOUNTAIN OF SAINT GRAL

The opera PARSIFAL, by the musician Richard Wagner, synthesized very diverse legendary elements, in addition to the famous ones of the Arturic Saga. Thatis, turning to the environment of the quest for the Grail in the form of a chalice (that of the Last Supper), tried to give so much clarity to the symbol, that by adopting it in the Holy Mass, it actually made it even more hidden.
The chalice-grail had initially been rejected by the Catholic Church, because its members in the "agapes" used a plate to celebrate Communion. Likewise, the predestined legendary heroes who sought him were despised, because to redeem the world it would be worth none other than Jesus Christ. They were very conflictive topics, but here I am only going to refer to their universal hermetic vision.
I will warn, from the outset, that the so-called Holy Grail is not a chalice, nor stone, nor a sword, nor a spear, nor a book, etc., etc. (since everything has symbolized it), but: the search for the enigma itself, and is inside each person sincere to himself. For this reason, before our Era, peopl were looking for the effects of the Grail in something indeterminate among the initiates of all the most important cultures, because it is unquestionable that there must be some external "support" when someone really wants to penetrate intimately in his own soul.
The beauty of the very slender pinnacles of Montserrat, unusually grouped in a perimeter of 25 km., And highlighting all its extensive around, has led to wish to live among those high retreats, to very deluded anchorites of all times, who in their deprivations, when they were not exceeded, it turned out that they did not arrive; which must be equally reprehensible. There is a phrase of the philosopher B. Pascal that would corroborate it: "Who makes the angel, makes the fool". In short, to give the right tone, it seems to be better to bear fruit in the world and face the adversities to solve them.
The medieval legends imagined in the vast surroundings of the Holy Mountain of Catalonia, remind us of how many people attracted by so many clusters of rocks, as if they were fingers pointing to the sky, faced an interior search in those high folds, on seeing that they were capable of to fend for themselves in as lonely as wild surroundings.
It is very true that, panoramically, anyone was ecstatic up there with its vast panoramas. The anchorites have been the indisputable protagonists of the medieval tales of the vast sector of lands and people who always lived in their environment. The hermits were the very suitable reference of exceptional men of great virtues. Such was the origin of the name of the hero par excellence PER-SE-VAL (in Catalan: "se-vale-por-si").
Not only the said spiritual "giants" were admired in the Iberian Peninsula, but also to the ends of northern Europe, surpassing many other heroes of the so-called Reconquista (as they were civil wars), which ended the appearance of the Charlemagne's army. Those Europeans, on their return to Central Europe, divulged the legendary background they knew about the surroundings of the Montserrat mountain. Thus a mystical literary cell was formed, which in the rest of Europe at that time did not yet have, because the Muslims arrived in raids only up to half of the current French soil. But the main thing is that they would not have had such a concrete "Islet of Salvation", which was, in effect, the most holy mountain south of the Pyrenees.
Other projections of the mystical-legendary background towards Europe were made by the troubadours, when they novelly invented the songs of love. His moralizing social mission included honoring the always formerly enslaved ladies (symbolically hiding the Virgin Mary). The later called "Courts of Love" triumphed in all the formerly very warlike West.
Twinning the legends of Montserrat with the adventurous adventures of the Breton Cycle, whose hero was Robin of the Woods type, was beneficial for both medieval sagas, because the also remodeled Arturian Cycle helped to serve as a "hibernation capsule" to the legends of Montserrat. However, when they returned secretly distorted to the Iberian Peninsula (because they did not allow themselves to joke about the holy war), no one was able to recognize those autochthonous peninsular elements that had initially inseminated them.
Once the elements are returned to their origins, the same "signal" can be recognized again in Montserrat. As well as looking at the hand that points to the sky, it was found to be a suitable geography for the salvation of souls. It is appreciated that, more and more, the same rocks get help to the "sincere seeker". With the revelation of an image of a human face, he has shown it again; and so it has been projected in the 21st century, when just fewer people are capable he was able to recognize those autochthonous peninsular elements that had initially inseminated them.

"MONTSERRAT, GANGA DEL GRIAL" is the title of my book, self edited 1993, where I proclaim my gratitude for being the first to have glimpsed the "eternal" Sierra de Montserrat as the Grail Ganga. It is the closest and most tangible idea of the so-called universal Holy Grail. And I write "Ganga", not because of how cheap it is to use the mountain, but also because of the maternal idea that made it the most sacred river in India.
In short, in my opinion, the Grail is referring to a search; being the Holy Mountain of Montserrat its ideal container. Seen this way, it will be understood that, socially speaking, it hurts me to think that some association can take the exclusive property of the Holy Mountain, and they do not mind using it for their partisan purposes.
In another site I argued that Montserrat is like a stone aid that grows ... and grew to offer us a face shape. Indeed, sight from the sky is clearly a human face of a bearded man, and circumspect, before whose presence we can think that: until we wil be able to understand its severe aspect, all the other faces that we have had since childhood, has only been successive projects of truly human face.
It has a really disgusting aspect, and on the other hand it is so realistic that it even has in manifesting vivacity. Is a miracle of chance that the monastery is located in the middle of its forehead? In fact, it is a coincidence, ... inside another coincidence, so I can believe that, although it may seem deactivated, it is full of future, as was already explained in very ancient legends intuitively.
He invites us to defeat the giant, who is none other than each one intimately, in order to be like the pure hero, the one who in the aforementioned legends of the Arturian Cycle, did not in vain carried many different names.
