“Most people are too busy earning a living to make any real money”

“Most people are too busy earning a living to make any real money”

Back in the ‘70s I lurked under a false name to escape my creditors.

During that period, I met some interesting people.

One was George Caldough, from whom my partner and I bought The Business Ideas Letter, which with the confidence born of conceit and ignorance we almost destroyed.

George had been a friend of Errol Flynn, the movie star, who died in his arms.

One day George introduced me to Joe Karbo, author of The Lazy Man’s Way to Riches.

That book was so successful it has spawned a piggyback version which sells today.

Joe was a kindly soul and he offered me a job.

I turned him down, perhaps wisely, as not too long afterwards he died.

Besides being kindly, he was a brilliant copywriter, and if you started reading this, you can thank him.

That’s because the heading to this piece was the subhead to the advertisement that sold umpteen thousands of his book.

You can learn a lot from a good line.

As I have often pointed out, good copy gets you nodding in agreement - and keeps you nodding all the way to the order form.

The question is, are you too busy to do what you know you should be doing?

But surely you can spare two and half hours, can’t you.

Especially if afterwards this sort of thing happened to you

“Wow, this stuff works!”I just had an enquiry via LinkedIn from someone who works at household name retail brand to do some speaker training for them. I met her at a conference 6 months ago but had had no contact since then. She saw my post today and DM'd me, and even included a link to the post in her message. I thought that was fab, but then the very next day, a major high street bank DM'd me asking for a quote!"

“Thoroughly recommend"Pam's guidance and tutelage has been amazing! Thoroughly recommend the 5-day challenge, it’s FREE! What have you got to lose??

“£75K of recruitment business”What I didn’t expect was over 16,000 views, over 80 external comments, 40 new requests to connect and 5 new business contacts who wanted me to assist them with their recruitment. This could be worth £75K of recruitment business. I was blown away and in this current climate, to receive recruitment assistance requests was a huge lift for my team and I. Ian and Pam put so much effort into their training and it has proved to be invaluable. That’s why I am so happy to write this testimonial for both of them.

“Great people”A great course run by great people. Well worth five days of anybody's time – who doesn't want more business?

  • Andrew Greenhalgh, writer and web designer

“It’s a no brainer”I also had reservations but saw within 2 days of doing the free 5 day course that it pays off. With this success, I opted to go on to do the current Masterclass - it's a no brainer and why not invest in something that you know really does what it says on the tin! Thanks to Ian and Pam for making it fun too!

“Sometimes over 7,000 views”I love Pam Case, Ian Denny and Mick Ryan [...] I have learned so much from them - and because of them, my posts regularly attract 2,500+ views, sometimes even over 7,000 - and I write about plants and gardening and my posts ALWAYS trend in #gardening

  • Tania Angelis, organic garden designer

“A great business tool”I thought that I knew quite a bit about LinkedIn Drayton but doing both of Pam and Ian's challenge and masterclass has taken my knowledge to a different level. I am seeing the benefit of it as a great business tool. It is great to see others benefit too and I hope to emulate Mick Ryan's posts too!

Those people managed to spare half an hour a day for five days to master success on LinkedIn.

Shouldn’t you?

Just go here, while it’s on your mind.

Best,

Drayton
