High school CEO among 30 young professionals named to Rising 30 class
Being the CEO of a company is not the typical life of an 18-year-old. While Michael Solliday has the customary responsibilities of every high school student, he also serves as the CEO of Wolverine Enterprises, a School-based Enterprise at White River Valley High School.
Michael is just one of 30 young professionals under the age of 30 who were honored with the Rising 30 distinction at a 200-person event in Indianapolis earlier this month. His Rising 30 peers represent diverse AML professions, including quality specialists, entrepreneurs and business owners, engineers, educators, software designers and CEOs like Michael.

Carey Services, Conexus Indiana partner on manufacturing training for people with disabilities
Marion-based Carey Services has partnered with Conexus to provide job-training services to people with disabilities. Supported by a gift from the Don Wood Foundation, the partnership will bring to Marion and the surrounding communities the Catapult Indiana program, which prepares Hoosiers for careers in advanced manufacturing.
“This partnership is an awesome opportunity for people with disabilities in and around Grant County to learn advanced manufacturing skills that will prepare them for success in the community,” said Jim Allbaugh, president and CEO at Carey Services.
Conexus welcomes new staff to focus on industry development and public awareness
Two new individuals have joined the Conexus Indiana team to support the organization’s industry development initiatives – one focused on AML partner development and the other focused on public awareness.
Jordan Isaacs serves as Conexus Indiana’s Senior Director of Industry Development. In this role, Jordan works to develop an active, engaged and diverse network of industry executives to participate in the Conexus Indiana Advanced Industries Council. He also is responsible for driving economic development activity within Indiana’s AML sectors through partnerships with public sector agencies, company targeting and recruitment support efforts.
Ian Mangan serves as Conexus Indiana’s Digital Marketing Manager. In this role, he manages the digital media, growth and strategic aspects of Conexus’ external marketing efforts to promote organizational offerings, programs and campaigns through social media, content creation, email marketing campaigns and website management. Ian also handles graphic design and multimedia production for the organization.
