Multiple Reporting is a blessing
Are you overwhelmed reporting to multiple Reporting officers, Sangeeta?
Well, it is the best thing to happen to you. or for anybody.
For,
you dont have to showcase your abilities to just one, but many.
The mistake which usually happens are
🙄 overwhelm
🙄 comparison and
🙄 taking it upon yourself to do it all.
Instead, you can leverage each one in support of another and bring them together so that they have their focus towards doing something more, and then
you can pitch in to complete the task.
Let me illustrate this. Right now, I have 3 verticals where I contribute, and therfore I have three reporting officers who give me rating with the weightage of 30, 30 and 40.
Weightage calculation is a lesson we keep to a later email.
Few tricks are; I say yes to all three most of the times.
"Sangeeta, we need to speak urgently to Mr. Mohan today", - Yes X.
"Can we preparae the proposal by next week?", yes Y
"You should now have these studies in priority, have multitaksing, so that other work dont suffer", Sure Z.
These are the 3 sentences I used only yesterday. So I remember. 😂
As I often suggest, to each of them to take the views of the other two as they have very high opinion of him.
Despite
the fact that their differences is an open secret.
Actually, if you observe their habits, and dig out a little about the previous time; it is not difficult to figure out how to bring in which fact to which conversation.
