Music City = Restaurant City: Resy Names Nashville the “Most Underrated Food City”
Resy is recognizing the power of food in Nashville, saluting Music City as the “most underrated food city” in its 2024 Resy Retrospective report published last month.
The restaurant reservation software examined the most popular dining insights from the year, as well as some of the top trends to watch in 2025. With growing numbers of tourists visiting Nashville every day, the report’s insight that 67% of people are likely to visit a new city for its dining scene plays well into the city’s strengths as a top dining option.
The report also highlighted three of the most in-demand restaurants — according to reservation requests from users — around the city in 2024: Chief’s, White Limozeen and Rolf and Daughters.
Chief’s, which opened earlier in 2024 on Lower Broadway, has become an instant hit thanks to the talent and popularity of country music star Eric Church. Speaking of country music stars, White Limozeen — on the rooftop of Graduate Hotels in Midtown — is named after and inspired by Dolly Parton. And Rolf and Daughters, in the heart of Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood, was opened in 2012 by James Beard Award semifinalist chef Philip Krajeck and has racked up numerous awards and honors along the way.
The Stars know that there are numerous high-caliber food options in Nashville, and we’ve got more featured in one of our other features this week. We invite all of our fans — and baseball fans everywhere — to visit the Nashville Stars Baseball Club and check out everything that our great city can offer!
